Cheese & Stool I gave my Yorkie some cheese today, which I've done in the past but not too often. I notice that his stool was really soft and loose...and it really stunk. Do you think he can't tolerate cheese due to his output~? |
Dogs, for the most part, are lactose intolerant. Plus, cheese tends to be too fatty for them aswell. Layla has some here and there but you can generally gage by their poop how something went over! |
i agree I think that Cheese and other dairy products can cause some issues If you want try carrots or something like that for a treat instead of dairy I know that as of late I have seen a lot of yorkies who love carrots |
I was told differently.... ...by the trainer for the class this summer sponsered by the Humane Society. She told me a lot of dogs can tolerate cheese. I just have to see if he does, depending on his stool, I believe. No more cheese for Maxwell :animal-pa |

Ellie got a few shreds of cheese (I think parmesan) once and she threw it up. She does okay with cottage cheese but that is all she gets. |
I use cheese as Franklin and Maggie's potty treat. They get 5-6 little pieces of cheese every day! |
