favorite treats? I was just wondering some treats that your yorkie eats.....our little Tyke won't eat any. We've bought 2 kinds and he smells them and walks away. The only thing he eats is his puppy food. He's 14 weeks old now. Just wondering......I do have 2 rat terriers outside that eat anything, so i'm not wasting money buying treats. I just wish he would eat just a little especially when he does something good. We just praise him alot, he seems to like it though. |
I feed Trinkett liver treats by Bil Jac. She goes crazy when I bring the bag out. She's only 10 weeks and is already learning tricks with these treats! They make them for puppies and adults. You can get them at Petco. Bil-Jac Little Jacs Liver Treats at PETCO |
Banana, melon, lettuce, boneless skinless chicken breast, carrot, cereal pieces, berries, noodles..... and for a special treat, vanilla ice cream.:) |
Mmmm, ditto on the vanilla ice cream. Lily is in HEAVEN when we go to Brusters and she gets a little doggie sundae. :p She also loves bananas, yogurt/yogurt drops, carrots. I'm pretty sure she hasn't met a people food she DOESN'T like! :D |
Solid Gold's Tiny Tots Jerky Treat for dogs. It's kinda soft good for puppies. My baby begs me for it :D |
thanks for all the info. he did eat a small piece of a peach last night. And seemed to like it....lol :p |
Mine like yorkie yummies yogurt drops, Salmon treats, cherios, small pieces of fruit, vanilla ice cream |
Let's see: Yorkie Yummies, zuke's-all flavors, yogurt drops, wellness liver training treats, bully sticks, cooked cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, potatos, strawberries and tortilla chips. I am sure that there are plenty more, but these are the ones we usually have around. |

P.S. Welcome to YT |
Bella too The only treats she will even touch are Bil-Jac Liver treats, which are good because they are tiny. Found them at Pet Smart. And probably not good for her, but she likes Beggin Strips bacon treats. Cut into tiny pieces. That is it. I have tried so many different kinds. My friend actually gave me a sample of five different kinds of organic treats, she did not like any. :aimeeyork |
All of our dogs love Robbie Dawg's training treats in a metal tin. They come in a square that can be broken into 4 pieces. They also love a natural cat treat that is dried liver jerky. It comes in tiny chips and they all just love it. We bought both kinds at our local dog bakery. Cheerios were also a training aid for our two older terrier mixes. |
Mine like Zukes, any flavor and they are the perfect size for a reward! Other than that they like Bichon fries, bullysticks, wild salmon treats and Merricks flossies! |
I agree with the others. Try some fruits, especially bananas and apples. Dogs usually love cheese and peanutt butter too! Meeko can't resist any of those! He's still a baby though. Meeko was picky when I first bought him home, too. Oh cheerioes are great too! |
Try the recipes out of the YT cookbook Mine love all the treats out of our cookbook. They all love the peanut butter ones the best . I made the tuna ones. I'm actually going to make a bunch for christmas!!! |
