Spay tomorrow~!~ Im super worried. my vet is awesome, I'm usine the Isoflorane anesthesia, she's done blood work, but at 2 lbs 12oz, im nervous as all get out. I could definately use a few words of support from fellow YTers!! It's coming on the heels of my dad having a stroke (he's doing well) and I really need her to come through!! send her love please! I drop her off at 7am tomorrow morning. |
She will be fine! Sending good thoughts your way |
thank you :) |
I know how scared we get when they have to go in but she will be fine. I will keep her in my prayers for a safe procedure. Keep us posted. |
Good luck! I know she will be fine. Trinkett & myself will be thinking about her. Keep us all updated! |
We're sending good vibes off your way for a safe spay and speedy recovery!! |
dropped her off at 730 this morning! They said they would call if anything goes wrong, and I haven't heard anything, so no news is good news... said they would call around 2pm to let me know what time I can pick her up. |
No news is good news!!! |
yay! she made it through good! Im leaving from work now to pick her up, and am spending the rest of the night with her. Vet pulled 5 teeth too! poor girl! only downside is vet says she has super thin skin, so hes worried about her tearing her stitches, so I'm on extra close mommy watch for the next 2 weeks |
I am so gald this is over for her ! She is fine, and will be doing well . ! I am glad the vet told you about her skin, so you can be watching for any signs of that . |
Hooray!! I'm so glad for you that she made it through so well. Spaying and neutering can be so scary!! Our tiny terrier mix also had 5 teeth pulled when she was spayed, we hardly noticed it bothered her at all. Spend crazy amounts of time with her and snuggle all day!! ( the only 'good' thing to come from surgery :) ) |
Glad to hear everything went ok! |

Update! She was drugged out and pretty much slept the last two days, but starting last night, she was running around, trying to play fetch, trying to jump on the couch. So it looks like I'll have my hands full the next week trying to keep her from tearing the glue thats keeping her together. We also found she can get around the collar they gave her to lick at it, so we found that the premie onesies are working better then the collar (and they are loose enough that the vet gave his okay) I got a pack of ten so I can switch them out regularly so it doesn't get the spot dirty. Stressed mommy. Daddy actually took a puppy watching shift yesterday so I could take a nap. :) |
Good to hear she is up and about. It is so hard to keep them quiet once they feel better. |
