At this point any food is good My little cutepuff Bella is the absolutely pickiest eater. I have bought store bought cheap dog food (dry and can) won't even touch it, at pet supply bought natural dog food (dry and can) ate small plateful of canned 1 time, this was Evangers 100% meat only dog canned and Natures something (can't remember name) no grains wheat etc, dry food, I have cooked her up ground beef (rinsed off fat), peas, and potatoes she ate this for a week while we were on vacation, now she will not even touch it, Ground Chicken breast with sweet potatoes ate it one night never touched it again, I have tried baby food (without onion in it) no go , She absoutely turns her nose up at any dog food. Just gave her Evangers all natural chicken, no junk at all in it, she ate a small plateful on Wednesday night, turned her nose up at it on thursday morn. Thursday night I gave her Evangers all beef she walked away, last night I tried the beef again nothing. She was eating small amout of Kibbles and Bits until I read on here it wasn't good for them, switched to Natures (something can't remember) from Pet suppy store . She ate a few bites over three days. OMG she is driving me crazy. I feel so bad that she doesn't like anything, even treats. She will only eat beggin Strips broke into tiny pieces. I have a pantry full of dog treats, from grocery store, from, Pet Supply stores etc. I was thinking of trying the raw dieat but the Pet Supply person said it is too much protien for the little yorkies. Any help on this matter would be gratly appreciated:confused::aimeeyork |
Pet food for those picky eaters I also have a picky eater. I have mine on wellness puppy...which she doesn't care for... so I bought the wellness small cans turkey and sweetpotatoe.. I mix about 1 teaspoon into this and she gobbles it down. The small cans work pretty good. I divide it into two days worth and freeze the other one, after it is frozen, I thaw it in the fridge for the next couple of days... watch out for the fish one as it spoils really quickly. She is still doing the potty thing as scheduled and seems to be doing okay on this regime. Hope this will help. Cheryl & Mandy:aimeeyork |
