"little manhood" not retracting all the way. My 16 mo old...3.5 lb Kirby's penis stays out a tiny bit past the head after he "plays " with his bed. He was neutered at 6mos and does this about twice a day. Sometimes either the second time he plays it will go back in. The Vet Saw him in this state of being and showed us how to manually put it in. However the vet could not get it in and told us to keep trying. We dont try everytime , to avoid even more problems, but we have not been able to do it. the VEt used lubricant as did we. Are we alone? what have others done? what is going to happen to my baby if his penis keeps sticking out...poor kid. I am very concerned! |
It's probably not a problem if it's just out a little bit. Ours will have his out a little bit when he's excited, but it goes away pretty quickly. You could have serious problems if you let it get to this point (viewer discretion advised--poor dog, which I'm pretty sure should have gone to the vet at this point): |
Nasty video. anyway..I dunno...The vet seemed concerned. That is great that your dog's goes back, but ours can go over half a day with a bit of the shaft peeking out.Maybe I will get more replies:confused: |
I dont have any advice for you, I just got my puppy a few weeks ago and he dosent know what humping is yet. But I just had to say that that video was just very wrong. I cant beleive that they didnt see a problem with that. They should have taken him to the vet instead of taping him and laughing. UHH :thumbdown |
I agree about the video, let alone video taping it. poor baby. I hope they didnt give it viagra and do it on purpose. He seemed to be shivering too and needed to be warmed up...little guy. |
We had a dog that had a similar problem years ago. I remember the vet saying there just wasn't enough skin to cover it. He said we could take him to a specialist to see about having it fixed (not sure how), but as long as he wasn't having any issues, like infection, he should be ok. We just let it be and he lived a nice, healthy life until age 15. |
