treats for sm. puppies What is the best treat for a 8 week old puppy. Mylie is doing really good pee pad training for her age but I would like to give her a treat everyones in a while. Thanks Tess |
We give Leah Cherrio's. I usually break them in half.....and loves them. :) |
shredded carrots, apples, dried fruits, natural peanut butter, yogurt cheese, goat cheese and a nice 1/2 or 1" beef femur bone to chew on. :D |
Everyone took what I was going to say! LOL ;) |
My favorite is to get a sample bag of quality dog food, other than the brand you normally feed. (most pet food stores carry them) They love it because it is different so they think it is a treat, but there is no worry about giving them to many treats. Plus they are usually cheaper than a bag of treats. |

I would think that giving a puppy two different types of kibble would be an upset ready to happen. Real food is the best, and safest way to go. ;) |
I give liver snaps or veggies. |
zeke's mini naturals :) |
Thanks everyone she is just so little and the treats I have seen look way to big and hard. I will have to try some of the treats mentioned. Thanks Tess |
Try the organic treats at %TITLE_TAG% They are small and not too hard but not chewy either. My 3 fur babies love them and they don't taste or smell bad. Betty |
I agree with the cheerieos. Both my girls love them and I use them for treats, in their treat ball, and for training. No allergies, no additives, low calories - what more could we ask for? |
My pups love the Zuke's Brand Treats & Charlie Bears from Trader Joe's. |
What are charlie bears? I've never heard of them but there is a trader joe's a couple of miles away. Is this people food or something specifically for dogs? |
