Nutra Ultra I am getting ready to order some nutro and they have the new nutro ULTRA puppy....anybody try this yet? What you think? Kristy and Mason |
I have the Nutro Ultra for puppy right now. I feed it to my 4 month Maltese, however,...my 14 month old Yorkie eats her food all the time! Then again, my Maltese eats his food all the time. The Nutro Ultra smells a bit fishy because of the use of salmon, but no complaints by me. Your dog will end up w/ a fishy breath for a bit though... |
My cairn terrier puppy has been on this food since weening I believe. I put my yorkie of almost 3 months on it when he got home and the first day he ate a good amount of food but then after that, he would barely eat. I then mixed in some of the brand's wet food to make it tastier and he still wouldn't eat most of it. But, my cairn terrier loves it and from the research that I have done, it is one of the "better" brands out there compared to euka, iams, purina, etc. The only thing that I've read regarding this brand is that it has corn and from the research that I have been doing, it may cause skin allergies. Hope this helped! |
Nutro Ultra has corn in it? I must have overlooked it in the ingredients....hmmm....dont want to feed a food with corn in it........this sucks! :( Kristy and Mason |

I just bought , less than an hour ago, Nutro Ultra for puppies. My puppy likes it so far. I had her on Eukanuba puppy from the breeder. The ingredients seem good--no corn. |
Nutra Ultra  Totally recommend it! My baby started on Puppy Max. Had flaky skin then switched to Ultra and her coat looks so much better. Nothing with fishy breath. I am very happy with this product. |

I use both the dry kibble and canned. (Annabelle uses the weight management Nutro Ultra cuz well she has kinda a poochy belly :p ) |
mine is also on the nutro ultra. and she loves it :p |
I highly recommend it as well! |
Dry Kibble, right? My vet said use dry because it's better for their teeth. |
Both of mine have been eating it for a few weeks now. Of course Harley (the 4 month old yorkie) would probably eat anything, but Sydney (mini Schnauzer) has always been very finicky and would go for days without eating. Since switching to the Nutro Ultra she now eats every day and seems to enjoy it. I mix in a little of the Nutro turkey roll and they both love that. |
oops I'm sorry I said the wrong thing. I was thinking about the Royal Canin that has corn in it. All this food research is getting me all mixed up with the different brands and different ingredients. I'm sorry for misleading you earlier and am glad that someone posted the ingredients. |
