Purifeye - All Natural Tear Stain Remedy Does anybody use Purifeye? It's an all natural product that you give orally to remove tear stains. Pet Purity - Purifeye: Eliminate Tear Stains! |
I haven't heard of this, but hope someone out there has! Anyone? |
I've never used that product....but wellness worked to clear up Reese's eye stains. Some maltese owners swear by it. If the food you're feeding has beets in it...that'll cause red staining. |
I went to the website and it looks interesting. Especially since it is herbal and doesn't have an antibiotic like Angel Eyes. I would love to hear from someone who has used this though, since it cost $29.99 per ounce. |
Doesn't anyone use this?? |
I have heard of it but haven't tried it. There is person on Maltese Talk though who was buying and trying it out. I am not sure if she ever posted on whether or not it worked well for her baby. |

Anybody else use this?? I'd like some feed back on it! |
Bump :) |
I used purifeye last year for my morkie. I do remember that I anxiously had to wait quite a few weeks but then the staining totally stopped. After about six months I stopped giving it to him (had to cut back on some expenses) and I was glady surprised that the stains did not come back Not even to this day still completely clear. I do have to say that I only give bottled water I have heard that makes a difference too. But to get rid of the staining, Purifeye surely worked for us. |

I spoke to vet about this issue I actually talked to our vet about this issue. My niece Summer is in the hospital with Lukemia, but just before being diagnosed her parents had purchased a Peekapoo all white. She has tears. He said the stains can be caused by dyes in their food,as well as theeir natural tear production. I later found out the puppy food Dana baught and sent with the puppy, was Purina Puppy Chow...OMG!!!! Threw that out. He recommended the liquid taer wash that you get in Petsmart( the name escapes me) I also purchased Nutro puppy bites and they are dye free, all natural. We'll see how she does. I mentioned the pill, but he thought that was too extreme. |
