Question about Collapsed Trachea So Layla has these things I call "episodes". It happens whenever she is reclined... to either get her teeth brushed or her nails filed and she starts this weird breathing and a sucking in noise.... it's horrible... today she had a long episode... i thought she was going to throw up.. anyways... is there anything that can be done about collapsed trachea or is it just what it is...? |

We always rub her throat, blow in her nose. Sometimes it does last long and it scares us to death. I think it is what it is, but I'm no expert! |

Gypsy can have a breathing problem from anything from 30 seconds to 3 minutes before her breathing is normal again. My vet said that at the minute she would just pass out if she didn't regulate her breathing after so long but we haven't got to that point yet and we have had some occassions when she has really panicked. |
