Can I get some opinions on this skin/coat supplement? I am thinking about trying this product for Hobbs' skin and coat issues. Per the vet's advice, I have been looking for something with omega fatty acids to supplement his food with to help his dandruffy skin. I have been looking for something that isn't liquid (i.e., salmon oil) because he free-feeds/grazes all day and I don't feel comfortable leaving salmon oil out on his food all day. Can I get some opinions on this product?? It's granuals that I can sprinkle on his food and leave out all day. I'm sure most people have NOT used this, but does it look like a good quality product?? I looked at the site and I personally would not buy it. Many quality foods have the omega acids and digestive enzymes in them already and a multi-vitamin would cover most of the rest of what's listed in the ingredients. There is a corn product listed high up on the ingredient list and I stay away from any corn. The one thing listed that is good for the skin is flaxseed and it is way down on the list. With this product being a granule, your dog could just pick around it if only being fed kibble. I feed my dogs kibble for a morning meal and kibble mixed with a little canned food in the evening. I add in some flaxseed oil with the evening meal and give them a multi-vitamin after. I don't think this product is intended to be sprinkled on just kibble but rather mixed in with something wet. If you got away from just free feeding kibble and made up a dinner with something wet, you could add in an oil supplement and probably get better results. :aimeeyork :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa |

I buy the Super Omega 3, 6, & 9 gel caps and give them one each every other day. I just bite the end and squeeze into their food. (I home cook, so they gobble each meal and don't leave a crumb). VitaMaker.com - Omega 3-6-9 - Now Foods Omega 3-6-9 Fish Oil - Fish Oil Omega Oil Shop Today! |
