Abby is loosing her baby teeth! I just noticed night before last that Abby had lost one of her bottom front teeth! I was so excited. I remembered when my oldest daughter lost her first baby tooth. Then last night she had lost another one and tonight there's even more missing, but she won't hold still to let me look to see exactly how many! Is she on track or schedule? She will be 5 months on Wednesday. When will her permanent teeth come in? Thanks :) |
It sounds like Abby's on schedule......Don't be surprised if she retains her canines, a lot of yorkies do....all mine retained theirs they where removed when they where put under for their neuterings ( is that a word lol).......... |
Thank You :) All my other yorkies came to me as adults, so this is my first experience with loosing baby teeth. I wonder if I should put them under her pillow tonight? ;) If I could find them. |
My baby is about 5 1/2 months and she lost alot of her baby teeth the last few weeks!! i was excited too! last night i was sitting on the couch and Darla (my baby) was chewing her toy and i saw her trying to eat something i went and picked her up and a tooth fell out of her mouth!!! it was a back tooth it looked like and i put it in a baggie and kept it so i could see it when she got bigger!!!:D:p |
Joshua started losing his baby teeth when he was five months. Now he is six months, and he is still losing his baby teeth. I noticed that he was losing his baby teeth while playing fetch. I found his baby tooth stuck in the toy. I think your dog was right on schedule. I decided not to keep my dog’s baby teeth. I rather just take pictures of important moments in his life and scrapbook them. |
I'm glad someone posted this because I was curious about the same thing. Lola just turned five months old and I noticed the other day that she was missing one of her lower teeth. It's good to hear that she seems to be right on schedule. :) |
Gabby will be 5 months next week. She lost her first tooth (or that I noticed) last week. I noticed another one missing yesterday. Both on the front bottom. She won't let me examine much so not sure if she is missing any others! I have yet to find any of these teeth. :D |
Sounds like she is right on schedule! :D I never found a single baby tooth. Have you found any of Abby's? |
Oh how fun! It sounds like the Doggie Tooth Fairy is going to have to pay a visit to Abby! |
Thanks Ladies :D What would I do if I had never found YT? Wow, we have so many around the same age! How fun :) We'll have to a big birthday party in January! |
Oh the cutest thing....hubby's new nickname for Abby Gummy Bear!!! |
:rofl28ib: Love the new nickname! |
I was just about to start a thread asking the same ? Tia is just over 5 months too, she has just come from boarding as I was on holiday for two weeks. I was checking her out and the she has no bottom teeth, all you can see is gums and bits of teeth coming through. It is soo weird as her front teeth look bigger, but they are all there. Stupid quesion --> 2 weeks seems like too short a time for her to lose all her top teeth and grow some more, could it be that her bigger are just getting bigger? or did Tia literally lose a mouthful worth of teeth, and grew half in a fortnight? |
I honestly don't know the answer to your question but it seems that they loose their bottoms ones first, not the top. The tops ones probably only look bigger because there's nothing on the bottom. I don't see anyway she could have lost all those teeth and grown a full set in 2 weeks! Of course I'm new to this as well, so don't take my word for it. Anyone else know the answer? |
