Raw Fod Question Hello. I've been reading throgh posts on the forum for a while, I li,e it a lot. I have a nine year old Yorkie, Fuzzball, a Lab, who is also a guide dog, and a terrier mix, aprox ages 7 and one. I am considering doing the raw thing, it sounds great. However, ball is missing soe teeth, just fell out this year. I'm not sure how to do the raw and incorporate bone as I dont think he can handle it without some of the top teeth. And the lab has issues with fruit veg and grain, not good, even with the higher grade dry foods. the mix will eat anything that doesn't move fast enough, including the furniture, lol. Can you suggest recipes or where to get supplies/ And should I switch all at once or slowly. Their weight is fine so that's not an issue. Also does anyone know if raw is appropriate for the 4 cats as well/ Thanks. |
just bumping this for you. there are a lot of people on here who know A LOT about raw and will be able to help. I do know that raw is ok for cats! i've seen pictures of someone on here feeding their cats raw. Welcome to YT and i'm sure someone will be by in no time with the answers to your questions! |
Are you interested in Pre-Made or Prey Model raw? It sounds like you may have some interest in Prey Model since you mentioned bones (RMBs). I do Pre-Made bc it's just easier for me and I don't want to make my own grinds (too lazy perhaps) - and my guys are doing so wonderful on it, that I just haven't jumped to prey model. I use Natures Variety Raw Frozen Medallions. Their teeth are amazing, withoutmany RMBs. They do chew on Bully Stix, Dentastix (occ.), Potato Chews and a few other chewy type things - and occ. RMBs, but not many at all. Raw can be fed to ALL of your babies, including the cats. Here is NVs website: Natures Variety |
