Teddy throwing up I made a thread yesturday abotu teddy getting sick after every meal. so I bought him new food that has no corn, beef, wheat, soy or artifical flavors in it and he scarfed it down and got sick.. but he didn't throw up at all with his old puppy food and he had just got done with playing with a dog for over an hour right before he ate that! Tomorrow we're taking him to banfield and hopefully they can take him in during the walk ins.. hopefully since we have to go to the mall, take him to the vet and be read for the military funeral(about that pilot who died in nevada if you haven't heard of it google navy pilot crash fallon nevada) all by 12:30. Wish me luck! |
I have not heard good things about Banfield. Do you have a regular vet? Get some tests run...like LS testing. Let us know how it goes. |
It good that you are taking him to the vet. This was a new food again though. That in itself could cause vomiting. Maybe make something like mashed potatoes (with no seasonings, butter or milk whatsoever) and give him some off of your fingers so he can't eat too fast. If he doesn't throw up that kind of thing it is probably just the new foods but it's always best to go to the vet and make sure nothing is wrong. |
What exactly was the old food that he was NOT throwing up? You have to start there and then make changes. I agree with Crystal - the solution is not in adding new foods - especially with a dog who is already in trouble. :) |
