Chasing and nipping at ankles My Yorkie (she's 5 years old... I have had her for 6 months now.... ) chases and nips at (particularly males) ankles and she is not playing when she does this. I am concern she is trying to bite them. She does this often with my son who lives with us!! So he is not a stranger to her. But she seems suspicious of males. I haven't seen her act this way with females...any ideas or suggestions???!!! |
Our yorkie tends to do this when children and playing or my husband and his brother are wrestling around. She barks and nips and almost looks like she's going to bite them, but she never does. I used to think she was afraid of getting trampled, but she might just trying to get them to stop. |
Hi she does this when my son or a male walks by her, they are just walking, it's like she'll charge after them and try to nip the ankle... I think she's being territorial. |
