please help!!!!!!!! One Morning Last Week My Sadie Girl Was Having A Real Hard Time Pooping , But She Did. That Afternoon My Husband Called Me At And Told Me She Couldn't Go And That She Was Crying. She Did Go To The Vet And He Cut Her Hair Back There, But I Really Don't Believe That Was The Issue. She Still Struggles To Go. At First I Thought It Was Because She Was So Sore, And She Really Was. Her Poop Looked To Big For That Little Tiny Butt. Well It's Been A Week And She Still Has A Hard Time. Is There Something I Can Do Or Stop Doing. She Eats Natural Balance Potatoe & Duck. Pelase Help Me. |
Lots of people give canned pumpkin. If she will not eat it, put some on your finger and put a little Kayro syrup on it. Somebody with more experience will see your post soon. |
I would immediately switch her food to something else. It has to be the food. Poor baby should not have to go threw that. Try another kibble. The duck is rich and gave Buddy the runs so I stick with Natural Balance Organic. He does goes 3 times a day so perhaps this food makes them poo more but he's never been constipated, ever. Please try another food right away. Something soft perhaps until you figure this out. |
I defnitely believe in the canned pumpkin, the dogs think its a treat! and some yogart should do the trick, and also do you think she is drinking enough? |
Thanks! Thanks! I Think I'll Try The Pumpkin. I'll Also Look Into Th N B Organic. Thanks So Much For The Advice. |
omg my friends puppy couldnt poop either! they took her to the vets and they gave her two enemas or something.. and biggest poop ever! came out haha.. afterwards they told her to buy 3 cans of a very good canned food to help regulate.. and soo far it has worked i believe the canned food was i/d or J/d somethign like that |
Sounds like she is constipated!! Stick with the natural types of food, but I would switch. Many people on here use Life's Abundance with a lot of success. Adding in canned food is fine, but I recommend it be grain free, like Nature's Variety Instinct, Innova Evo, Tripett, Solid Gold Green Cow...This way you don't inadvertantly end up with a weight problem. Ideally, dogs should have small, solid stools and shouldn't strain to poo. |
