Yorkie's teeth Maggie has an appointment with her Vet in the morning to get her teeth checked out,She is 1 year old. Her gums looks wierd to me, When I brush her teeth, her gums are flimsy like, and her teeth looks jagged, anyone know what I am talking about ? I cannot tell what is baby teeth. |
hmmm...well i know baby teeth are much sharper than regular, i dont know if thats what you mean by jagged. i hope someone else can be more helpful than me...lol |
I guess I am using the wrong word, not jagged, but snaggle?! |
hmmm are the baby teeth snaggle??? because if so i would think you shoudlnt worry too much....i would be the most worried about the new teeth coming in and the condition of them...... |
Could it be the retained baby teeth mixed with the adult teeth? Roxie has that and was going to get the baby teeth pulled Tuesday when she was going to get spayed but she came into heat and I have to wait. Some of her teeth look snaggle tooth. |
Shouldn't she have lost all of her baby teeth by 1 yr of age? Or if she hasn't, that could definitely be the issue....she could have both her stubborn baby teeth and her adult teeth taking up room in her tiny little mouth. |
Well I took Maggie to the Vet, they pulled one bably tooth in front and there is 2 teeth on bottom that is pushed back alittle, She had just started her period :(, and I didn't know, so she is not a baby anymore:cry: , well she will always be my baby. They still can't spay her, Her liver test is better than the last time. She is eating better since I have been giving her vitamins out of a tube with a medicine dropper. |
Glad the teeth were able to be pulled. |
