Romeo stepped in gum! I took Romeo for our morning walk and he stepped in gum.:( He stopped walking immediately. I took him inside and washed his paw with dog shampoo. The gum is stuck between his pads. I don't want to cause an injury by messing in that area. I called the vet and they told me to call a groomer. Does anyone have any advice for me? Please help..he is very uncomfortable. |
try working the gum out using peanut butter :aimeeyork :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa :) |
I agree with the suggestion of applying peanut butter to the gum. On a side note, I hate when people throw their gum on the sidewalk. |

I would say use peanut butter or maybe try a little ice on the area to harden it( don't know how they would like that though)... I know it works in human hair?? |
Either peanut butter or plain butter should help get it out or try ice and then cut it out when it is hard. I also hate it when people don't use garbage cans!:aimeeyork |
Is Romeo's foot gum-free? I agree with trying the PB. Chunky will work too :) |
