Make sure he is on a heart worm med and be sure to bring something that will create shade for him. I have never been camping with Layla but i'ms ure those who have been can give you more help! have fuN! |
we just got back from our first camping trip. Always use a harness and leash. keep your shot records in the camper, just in case. try to get your baby to go potty while being on a leash BEFORE you go camping. I didn't do that one and Crickett had an awlful time trying to go potty with me beside her. She usually goes in our fenced in back yard and just did not get it at first. Take a brush with you so that you can get brush out the tangles before bed. Take bottled water, do not use the camp ground water (I always use filtered water at home). Take some little baggies to pick up the poop, campgrounds hate when people don't do this, and I wouldn't want to step in it later. I am sure you knew all of this, but I wasn't sure what you wanted to know. We had a great time and everyone just loved Crickett. She LOVED camping!!! |
1 Attachment(s) My fur babies love camping her is a picture of a camping trip where they spent alot of time in the water. If they have a short hair cut watch for sunburn. I always take bottled water as the water may not be good. They get advantage about a week before we leave and I make sure they have their heart worm meds up to. They get Dronal all wormer as soon as we get home just in case. If it is hot I use a spray bottle to keep them wet or damp. They have a covered tent and playarea. I identify the potty area right away so they know where to go. They will go on the leash it it is tied to a stake near the area. They really like their privacy. |
