Adult weight vs. weight at 12 weeks I thought the thread on "how much does your Yorkie weight?" was very interesting which left me wondering...How much does your Yorkie weight now and what did it weight at approximately 12 weeks. My Gracie at 9 months weighs 9 pounds. She weighed 2.6 lbs at 8 weeks and about 4.8 at 12 weeks. |
Franklin weighed exactly 4lbs around 12 weeks... he's 8 months now and weighs 10.4lbs. |
My Peanut weighed 12 ounces at 12 weeks.... she weighs 3 pounds, 4 ounces at a little over a year old. |
Ranger weighed exactly 2.5lbs on his 12th week birthday. He is now eleven months old and weighs just under 5lbs. The chart was spot on for him!! |
My little guy he is 5 months and weighs 3lbs |
Mara weighed 1.5 at 8 weeks and is now 6 pounds at one year old...anne |
My Stella was 2lb 9 oz at 12 weeks and she's 5lb 6oz at 17 months |
Wrigley weighed 1.13 lbs at 12 weeks and she weighs 6lbs even and she will be 2 at the end of this month! |
Layla weighted 1.9 lbs at 12 weeks and she is now 6 lbs. |
Miko weighed under 2 lbs at 12 weeks and is now 11 lbs. He was a very sick pup when we got him. |
KiKi weighed 1.2 lbs at 13 weeks and now at 6 1/2 months she weighs 2.9 lbs....I am hoping she will grow some more.... |
i just wnated to say i love this thread! i have seen at least three posts where the dogs were the same size as Lay at 12 weeks and their current weights are SO different. THis is great way to show new buyers taht you just can't guarantee size! |
miss buffey was around 2 lbs at 12 weeks (maybe a shade under 2 lbs) and she is almost 3.5lbs at over 8 months  her sister just hit a growth spurt and i am hoping she does the same ;) |
Buddy was 4.5 at 12wks, 12lbs at 1yr and today at four he is 15lbs. Been holding that for two yrs. I pray he has finally stopped growning! |
At 12 weeks Lily was 1.2lbs about and she is now 1 and a little over 5lbs |
Maya Had 1.4 Lbs. At 12 Weeks And She Has An App. On Wednesday At The Vet And I Am Hopening She Will Have 3 Lbs At 15 Months .... She Has Been Eating Like A Piggy Lately And She Feels Heavier ...;) |
Abby weighed exactly 2 lbs at 12 weeks and at 17 weeks she weighed 3.5 lbs! She really had a growing spurt there during those 5 weeks! |
Cassiopia at 12 weeks weighed 1.7 lbs and at 20 weeks she now weighs 2.3 lbs...she's currently pretty on target according to the chart. But who knows how much she will weight when she reaches 1 yr old. Since I've had her, she had only 1 growth spurt and the vet mentioned that once she hits 6 mths old, her growth rate will slow down a bit. According to the Chart her adult weight would be 3 lbs. Not sure how true this is...as I've read a few comments from others where their yorkie had a similar weight at 12 weeks and ended up weighing around 5 lbs. In any case, as long she's healthy I guess it doesn't really matter what her adult weight will be. :) |
At 12 weeks Peeka was 2lbs 8 oz and today at 2 yrs old he is 4 1/2 lbs Daisy at 12 weeks was 2lbs and today at almost 20 months she is 5lbs:) Boomy mom's yorkie (Peeka's full litter brother) was the same as peeka 2.8 and he is now 4 lbs. so they all vary. |
Pixie was a 1lb 8oz at 14 weeks, the age she came to me, and is now a little under 3lbs at 1 year. |
I took Brady to the vet today for his 12 week checkup. He weighed 3.8 lbs. I can't find him on the growth chart to figure out his weight. Anyone have an idea on him? Thanks!! |
My Roxie was 1lb 9oz at 13 weeks. She is now 5 1/2 months old and weighs 2lb 4oz.:) |
sammie-joe weighed 1 pound at 12 weeks and she is now 3 1/2 years old & weighs 2 pounds, 12 oz. - she has stayed at the same weight since she was 1 year old. |
Itsy was 2.3 lbs at 8 weeks, at 12 weeks she was 3.8 lbs, now at 19 weeks she is 6.5 lbs. If the growth charts are going to be right she better stop growing soon!;) |
