Flavored Yogurt? Rocky eats Yogurt, non fat, and he loves Cottage cheese as well. But can I give him some flavored yogurt? If so, what kind?? Also, what is a good source of carbs? |
Not sure what you mean by flavoured, but I give my dogs strawberry and rasberry yogurt all the time and they love it! |
I give yogurt as a treat sometimes — usually the low fat variety in berry flavors. My two love it! And it kills me to see their 'yogurt' lips after. |
Activia is a great yogurt to give it has probiotics in it and works great for their bellies and digestive tracts. I think flavored is okay as long as its not artificially sweetened. |
I only use the non-fat plain yogurt. I thought that the sugar in flavored yogurt wasn't good for them. Maybe I am wrong. I have a fat senior girl who doesn't need any extra calories so I guess I'll stick to plain. Know they would love the flavored, though. |
Thanks for input. I think Danon makes one with real fruit. I think he is just gets tired of having plain yogurt all the time and I wanted to give him something new. I'll try strawberry banana and see how it goes. I am sure he will like it, but I want to be sure it is safe for him. |
Aww i never thought about giving Bailey yogurt. I'm gonna go buy some for him now :D thanks hehe |

I highly recommend getting one with live cultures. They are SO beneficial to your dogs digestive tract. Im not sure if Dannon has them or not. I know activia, and Yo-Baby has them. |
Thank you so much. ACTIVIA?? where would I buy one, regular store? or Pet store?? |

I am constantly giving them fresh fruits and veggies as treats and they go bonkers . . . I know they will love yogurt as much as they love their cottage cheese . . .thanks for the tip. |
Awesome!!! Thanks !! After work, I am going straight to the super market! Cannt wait to see monkeys reaction! |
Question I have been feeding Bella the baby yogurt, Sometimes I give her plain and I add frozen fruit, she likes strawberries, pineapple, so is that alright but do I need to add something sweet. All I have is sugar/or splenda? Thanks Cheryl/Jack/Bella:animal-pa |

I would avoid adding sweetners such as splenda or sugar. Activia comes in flavors with the fruit already in them. Id go with that. :) Activia by Dannon |
Thank You Thanks for letting me know I will buy some Friday when I go to the store. You have helped me so much I really appreciate it. Cheryl/Jack/Bella:animal-pa |
