Food For Thoughts I just had a though, I feed Max from a bowl set I purchased on line 2 years ago, was made in China, with all the lead poisoning and the toxic paints,I wonder if the bottles, bowls and all the things we use are save for our babies. |
I don't think anything can be considered 100% if it's made in China. We still use ceramic bowls for Ellie that were made there though. I have been meaning to replace them with Corell (made in the US). That is what I will probably use from now on. |

Slowly things are changing but it will take a while. If we want made in the USA we also have to pay made in the USA prices and it will take people a while to adjust to that. |
You know, I know for a fact that the Corelle/Corningware (same company) USED to be made in the USA. However I just went to their website and it does not say where the stuff is made. You would think that if it is still made in the USA they would SAY SO on their website. Usually when the country of origin is not listed it is because they don't want you to know.... We may have to stick to Pyrex... at least we know glass is safe right? |
Well...so far glass is safe, until they discover something else...I do have Pyrex, so even if it's not as cute, I'll be using that from now on. |
