Sterilized Bones? Has anyone given their Yorkies sterilized bones? I saw these in the Drs Foster Smith catalog, and wondered if they would be ok for our Yorkies. Dog Chew Treats: Natural Beef Bones Sheila |
i know marrow bones are ok for them, im wondering if thats the same thing |
Absolutely. That is all Buddy has had for the past two years. I tried passing the word to everyone on YT. Go for it. They are the safest you can get. |
How can you tempt a dog to chew on them?? Mine thinks they are boring and he isn't allowed any meat or protein to put on it or in it to entice him because of a medical condition. |

My friend got one for zoey in Petsmart yesterday...well two. One that is filled and the other is plain. I put some kong stuffing in the empty one for her but she hasn't really bothered with it. I will put down the regular stuffed one to see if she likes it and takes to it. I will let you know how it goes. I like that it's all clean and I didnt' have to do the work of cleaning it myself. |

I'll let you know, too, if my girls like them. Sheila |

I;m not sure how good the stuff is that is stuffed into those bones. I would get the plain and stick some cheese, peanut butter or chicken in it myself. THat's what I do for Buddy. Just a thought. |

Buddy was such an and still is an aggressive chewer they were a life saver for both of us. Can he have cheese? Fat free or 2%? Even some yogart smeared on the inside. Anything that is speadable that he is allowed to have. |
