Fractured Tooth Poor Coco. She has fractured her farthest back molar and has to have it removed this morning. We just found it yesterday, and they want to take it out today. I've no idea how this happened, obviously she chewed something that broke the tooth. Wish us luck. She's healthy, and puppies are weaned except for an occasional "comfort" nursing. But you never know with anesthetic. Here we go! |
Good luck, I will be praying all goes well. |
Just came back from the vet. Coco was so nervous -- not normal for her. They had me take her harness off and bring it home. That was creepy. Having her harness but no Coco. I'm nervous about this for some reason. It doesn't help that we had a small earthquake last night that bumped our bed up off the floor, or that I saw a poor squirrel run over on the way to the vets...gracious! I'm getting morbid here. Better get busy doing something else. |
When will coco get to come home |
She'll be back later today, assuming all goes well. Can't wait. |
aahh bless her, she will feel better with it out and the ordeal is over with. |
Just talked to the vet and they are working on her now. I'll call again in a little while. |
Keeping Coco in my thoughts . |
YEAH!!!!! Coco is awake and letting them know about it in no uncertain terms. (I know she misses her mommy). They pulled the fractured tooth and put sealants on her teeth. I always wondered why they don't use sealants on dogs -- and guess what? They do. So she will be home in about 2 hours.! Yeah.:yelrotflm Thanks everyone for the good thoughts. |
That's great news!! Such a relief to hear they are out and ready to come home. |
