Switched to Wellness for Puppies.... ....now what?! Maverick doesn't like it. He just won't eat it. I have a HUGE bag of it and now I don't know what to do. Should I try another food or give it some time. We just completely switched over from Royal Canin a few weeks ago. He will wait until I put the cat food down and try to go after that. Otherwise he isn't eating a whole bunch. This is already the second time I've switched his food so I'm worried about switching it again. He is only a little over 4 months old. Can I mix in some wet food and try that?? If so what wet food can I mix with wellness? Does it matter? Overall he is doing REALLY good but he isn't eating like I would want him to even though two weeks ago he had gained some weight. Any advice would be great! Jen |

Got my senior girls to eat low-fat food by putting a bit of water on it and stirring it around. Someone suggested that I drizzle a little no-fat chicken broth over it. Just some suggestions. |
I notice the same thing with Izzie.. I started her on the Wellness and she was eating when it was mixed with her old food but now she just nibbles on it, she rather still her brothers food. I was debating on getting the wet food just to enhance the taste. |
Dogs can eat cat food but I don't know about puppies. If I had the choice, I wouldn't feed kibble at all. I like all canned much better. You could also mix some canned in with the kibble and it's okay to switch brands again. |
a lot of the pet stores will take back the food(with your receipt) if they don't like it. I would soften the food that you decide on with a little warm water |
