Flea/tick/worm prevention Anyone from Ontario, Canada?? I would like to know what kind of preventatives need to be given to our dogs if residing in Ontario. I know that in some states/provinces, there aren't any tick problems. I don;t want to give my dog any unnecessary meds... My dog has been on Sentinel, but I was told that it doesn't "cover" everything. Also, I would like to order the meds online instead of from my vet (they're kinda getting pricey). Any advice would be appreciated (name of preventatives, names of websites to order, etc.). Thanks in advance...Mona and Jinju ;) |
Sentinel is a good product. It is Interceptor for heartworms and intestinal worms and Program for fleas. It doesn't kill fleas but makes them unable to reproduce. You could use another flea preventative on top of this or use Interceptor or Heartgard for heartworms and a flea preventative. |
