Stella and Chewy Raw Tumi and Gracie are on NV raw Lamb and also Primal raw Lamb. I rotate between 2 brands so they won't get bored. They love both! Anyway, I am thinking about trying the Stella& chewy Raw also. Has anyone tried it? what do you all think about it? Here's the link http://www.stellaandchewys.com/site/...rozen_lamb.asp |

Looks pretty good - except the oddest thing is that it lists WHOLE flaxseed - with which the body can do virtually nothing. Strange. I can't imagine that dogs (w/ shorter tracts than us) can do something w/ whole seeds that we humans cannot. Flax must be ground or the oil must be extracted in order to get the fatty acids. Otherwise, you'll just see the whole darn seeds in their poos. Weird, huh? I wonder if it's a typo on their end? (Hah! no pun intended!) :D |

I buy all three NV, Primal, S&C. I ended up trying Stella and Chewy's because the store suggested it over NV saying that NV was trying to change their formula to S&C but I have also heard the reverse. |

My kids like it.... It does have some potato in there, but it's not the end of the world..... It's creamier than the NV. Once it's thawed out it's pretty smooth, no big chunks of anything. They test every batch to ensure it's free of Salmonella and E.coli. You can see the results for each batch on their website. http://www.stellaandchewys.com Their manufacturing plant is actually just a few miles from where I live.... |

we tried it today and the girls love it!!!! Ann, there is no whole flaxseed in it..i guess they were whole before they ground them..lol:D |

I was looking into getting this also for my lttle ones, but the protein is so high, is that safe? I had thought that Yorkies needed a little less protein to keep a healthy liver....or am I mis-informed? |
