What a coincident! I just gave a thought on cranberry pills, the supplement for human. I had these pills for some time long time ago, but did not feel any different and stopped taking. A little update for Mochi...... she is now sleeping (on her right shoulder with both front legs straighten up) after all the busy pee pee actions. |
Just googled it and it looks like cranberrys and cranberry juice should be ok. wouldn't give your baby to much though it might be a litte acidic for their tummy, you could dilute it down with water. |

Bless her bones!!! hope she better this morning!!:getwellso |
Aww poor babie, How is she today ? Hope she feeling better soon. |
Update Mochi did not pee as frequent (every 5 - 10 mins) as yesterday. I wonder if it is because she drank less water than yesterday. Since the frequency came down, I want to wait for one more day to see, if that persist during Monday daytime, I will take her back to the vet Monday late afternoon. I also went to the supermarket and cloudn't find the cranberry juice from the baby section. I will have to look for it from some other supermarkets tomorrow. I thank you all for your concern, suggestions and instant replies. I will keep updating you with her condition. |
Hope she's feeling better soon. Does she pee outside or on pee pads, If outside you better get some sleep girl!!!!! |

Well, sometimes she pees on the pee pad, sometimes she is a bit outside of the pad. I stayed up till 2:15 am last night. She woke me up for pee pee at 4:30 am, then I held her in my bed till we woke up this morning. I still feel so bad for putting her through all these...... :( I hope 2 weeks will pass just like that (surture removal in 2 weeks). |
I know what I was like when I was getting up every 2 hours with pepper when we first got her. LOL WALKING ZOMBIE LOL, and was I cranky!!!! Then I talked to the breeder(hubby got her from a girl at work and she wanted to see her so I brought her up to the police dept) and figued out she had started out on pee pads. That explains why all my throw rugs have been washed multiple times!!!! So now I leave pee pads down in the house as well just in case. Try the washable pee pads someone here sells them. What color was the sample you caught yesterday, was it clear or cloudy, light or dark?? |
I also hear that if you put her in a onsie (for babies) it will help keep her from chewing her sutures, but you probably ought to wait till the urine issue is cleared up, that could get really annoying undoing and redoing the snaps:) :) |

Yes, I am using the onesie right after the surgery, I really don't want to make her more uncomfortable by giving her the e-collar. I have to snap the flap of the onesie in a way that she can pee anytime she wants. I only snap it close when she goes to sleep/naps. |
Get well soon... I hope all is better on your end. :animal-pa |
I would suggest taking her temperature. If she has an infection she would at least run a low grade fever. Her temp should be around 101 but you should take it some time when she is feeling good and has been resting so that you will know what is the normal temp for her. |
