YAAAAA so glad to hear the good news! d |
:D I just saw this post and I have to laugh as you are an official "yorkie momma". And I hope that doesnt offend you, it is just so motherly to worry about our babies. |
Sending good vibes out that all storms stay far away from your hospital , nurse and patients. |

Matthew, I'm just seeing this, as I've been away from the board. I'm so very sorry for what's happened to Stan-the-man, and the necessity of your hospital status :( . Happy to hear he's doing so well, now, though! Miss Abigail-Ceana sends *gentle healing licks* (don't tell Coffee! ) |
We survived, but it was a close one The hospital remains intact and functioning. Tornado touched down about 13 miles away, and was moving in this direction, but sputtered out. This testifies to the power of all your positive thoughts- So THANK YOU. Lots of thunder, lightning, pouring rain, and screaming winds...but the entire "ward" slept thru it. Believe it or not, I am seeing a few SNOW FLURRIES zipping past the window now. Winds are still very strong, but not deadly. Makes me homesick for Upstate NY. NOT. ;) The patient ate his REGULAR wet food this morning, mixed with some water to create a soft mush. He appeared so happy to get back to the normal food. Ate it all. So it seems he is learning to use that long tongue of his...which, considering the circumstances, is now a blessing. He has now requested to go back to his second bed, in the bedroom, and take a snooze. Not a bad idea, considering that it has gotten very cold outside, and is still dark and stormy. Will update later. |
So glad the storm missed you and it sounds like you are lucky since it was so close. Hope you have a great day cuddled in with your furbabies. |
I am so glad y'all made it thru the storm with no harm done to you and yours. I can't believe the patient slept thru it. Murfee does not like thunder and always hides. Take care dear friends. |
Stannie chowed down on his dinner with no problem. Enjoyed being coddled in my lap this afternoon. Took his meds like a champ. It looks like he is truly on the mend. Matthew |
Matthew... I am so glad to hear Stan is on the mend:D And I just want to say how much I enjoy reading your posts:D :D |
That's great news Matthew. My Samantha is getting along pretty good too.:animal-pa |
That is so good to hear, Mom-3! I am glad that Samantha is doing well. I enjoy posting here, so there will be lots more to come, I am sure. Will update on Stanford tomorrow. Matthew |
Another banner day for Stanford. Eating like a horse, cozying up to my partner who is here visiting, and being a good man in general. I have noticed his jaw is now a little bit crooked, but I can live with that. He really seems much more engaged and happy now. Maybe because he is out of pain, and the jaw is recovering from that infection. Who knows how long he had been infected, or in pain? His charming personality is starting to show through, and we are all delighted. Matthew |
We are delighted too. A slightly older gentleman with a slightly crooked smile? What could be sexier than that?? Go Stannie!! :D |
I just loved this thread!! He is one lucky pup to have such a wonderful daddy and I am so glad to hear he is doing better and healing up!! Thanks for sharing and I look forward to hearing more adventures!! :) |
Stanford appears fully mended Boy, he is yapping up a storm, interested in the goings on in the house, looking out the window, and asking to go out for some fresh air. Much more interested in eating now...he is asking every 2 hours (but he knows when he eats). He is much more interactive, and seeking out affection. What a difference. Matthew |
