Eagle Pack Holistic Small and Mini Breed. It has teeny tiny kibbles so they are easy for Crickett to eat, esp. since she has lost some of her baby teeth. Good luck finding the right kibble for your puppy!!

Mine eat a mixture of homecooked, Science Diet Natures Blend, Wellness, Nutro Natural, Purina Pro Plan and supplements. Although it seems like one of mine can't stomach somthing in that mix, so we're about to do some swapping up...again:rolleyes:
You have to try various options and see what works best for YOUR dog as they are all different. You will know when you have found the right ones by the results you see w/ your pooch.

Raw (Natures Variety Medallions, lamb and venison); although, Marcel is eating fish right now bc his tummy is funny ever since he had a party with an SOS pad, so I'm getting him settled again. Sigh. Love the raw though.

I feed Canidae wet food, Orijen dry for snacking, and homecook. Its hard to get him to eat.

why did the breeder feed this to my yorkie then?she told me it was the best food and thats what he started eating when he was 8weeks and the science diet.I dont understand why would i want to feed this to him if its that bad.And he has been having some runny poops lately too.
Should i ask the vet to switch him to something else when i take him for his
1st visit?

some people just don\'t know any better.. and that\'s ok... they are doing what they think is best. but now that you know you can switch to any of the foods mentioned in this post. I would not "ask" your vet.. i would just change.. he will want you to put him on a food that he sells... and a lot of vets don\'t sell the best food. His runny poop is probably from the food... and just so you know when you do change his food he will have diarrhea for a few days.. that\'s normal.. his body is trying to clean out all the crappy food and is adjsuting to the new food.. when you cahnge.. go slowly.. take 7-10 days to cahnge him over.. gradually adding more of the new food.. the dirrhea can last a few days.. make sure he is drinking so he doenst\' get dehyrdrated.
