Kyo greens Has anyone ever used Kyo Greens? I took Blaze to the vet today and I asked about his watery eyes and he suggested I go to the Health Food Store and get Kyo Greens. Its a powder, he told me to but a dash on his food! Anyone ever use this product and have results? |
Anyone???? |
I have not heard of that particular green product but I have taken other green products myself before. They are very healthy. I never gave any to my dogs but I thought about it but did not want to without researching it more. Let me know if you find out any more about it. |
If it helps with runny eyes, please let me know.:) |

My vet said it works really well. Its not designed for watery eyes like angel eyes (or similar products) but it does not contain any of the antibiotic either. Its natural and safe. I went and bought it yesterday. He said to add a dash to their food once per day and I should see results from that. Ill give it a try and see if it works!!! |
These would be an excellent supplement. "Greens" - aka "Mineral Greens", "Super Greens" etcetera - are really great bc they not only contain great bio-available minerals but they ALSO contain blue-green algaes which are just wonderful nutritional elements. Marcel's nutrionist highly recommends Vitamineral Green (similar to Kyo) as an overall supplement. She has seen tremendous things w/ it. The only time she cautions against it is with dogs who may have issues w/ wheat - bc the greens usually contain wheat grass - so keep that in mind. :) |

I get the heeby jeebies thinkg about givng her algae.:p I think I will talk to her vet about all of this next time. I just have a feeling wheat is going to set her off. She is STILL splitting her ears open probably from the beef. She ate it a month ago, so if the itchies don't go away within another month, then she must be allergic to something else she is eating or maybe it is yeast which is far from ruled out. |
