my poor tate tate!! i put salmon oil supplement in their food once a day. They are on Raw and i just mix the oil in. So fat they don't have the dry skin. Also they eat Orijen Six Fish kibbles once in a while. Both of mine are super picky..i mean Super!!! and they love the orijen. I think Six fish will be good for the dry skin since it has just fish and it is excellent for allergies. I know how you feel abt switching to a new food. It took me good 6-7 months to find something that they really like. I don't want you to end up getting a whole bag and have steddy not like it. if you want, i can send you a small bag of orijen and see if the kids like it? i know it's high in protein but as long as your baby is healthy and not have liver shunt problem ..i don't see why not? my vet says the high protein thing is just a myth and it is only bad when the dogs have unhealthy liver. |

I am definitely going to try the Fish Oil and Vitamin E. She has pretty much always had dry skin...but nothing like it is now. When she was younger I would see flakes here and there...but now there are more flakes and she is just always itching - MAINLY around her nose/mouth area. That seems to be her "problem area" although she does have dry skin on her back as well. She is just always itching, scratching and pawing at her little nose, which I think is causing some of the hair loss there.. |
I would probably change her food if you have the slightest thought that it is that. This stuff is good for environmental allergies but very little helps for food allergies unless you change it. |

Oh and YES....little miss piggy Tator WILL eat any and all food that is within reach LOL. That is the only thing stopping me from putting them on two diff. foods.. :( OF COURSE I have to have the complicated babies  LOL. One that doesn\'t eat much and is a super picky eater, and one that won\'t STOP eating and will eat anything in sight! And of course one with skin problems and one that is over there sitting on his THRONE with no problems at all...go figure  |
