congratulations on your new baby! My girls LOVE the LIfe's Abundance holistic dog food. It has no corn, no wheat or soy and no by-products. I have free samples if you would like to try it out. :) No worry about trying to find it in a small town or on a store shelf since it will be delivered straight to your front door from the manufacturing plant! We LOVE that convenience!! It also means it is super fresh since it doesn't sit on a store shelf or warehouse for who knows how long.

Unfortunately, scooby never slowed down, he got worse, and I used to up his food and he would do the same and was never satisfied

inhaling food update
 
I bought Solid Gold food for her over the weekend and have started adding a little to her puppy chow. Of course she eats it with no problems. Is a week long enough to do the transition. I'm also going to be feeding her more. The puppy chow said 1/4 - 1/2 cup per day but the Solid Gold says 3/4 - 1-1/3 so i think i'm going to see how she does with 1 cup per day. She even chewed some of it last night ( i could actually hear crunching!)

It is good to hear you got her some good food. I think switching her over a week period will be fine. Her little tummy might need a little time getting used to the good stuff. Once she is completely off the poor quality food then I think it will be easier to rotate her between high quality foods. Good luck with you baby.

This food stuff is interesting... good post.. :thumbup:

My vet recommended hills td for their teeth.. they also get eukanuba puppy...so if anyone has better idea's for me.. I also have one that inhals food, then at times gets sick..
any suggestions..
