Malaseb shampoo Lately I have been reading alot on skin problems and prescription shampoo on here. Almost every time for skin probs the vet will"prescribe"malaseb and they sell it there. It is not a prescription. To save you some money I thought I would let you know that most of the vet catalogs carry this and it is at LEAST half the price of what your vet charges. I know KV vet carries it and so I am sure does Jeffers. They are usually very quick about getting your order to you and you can do 1 day service too. It will probably still be cheaper.Dawn |

Diva....I'll have to check into the medicated shampoo you posted for Tessa - Is Malesab the NAME of the shampoo ? |
Villette, yes that is the name. it is prescribed by vets for fungus and bacterial skin issues.Of course with any bacterial skin problem they should also be on an antibiotic. It is great for dogs with contact allergies too. I have it for my horses because in the rainy season I have a couple with fungal issues. But I use it on Buddy too, it keeps his contact allergy itching to a minimum. |
