Food at Petsmart Morning everybody! I have been buying proplan from my vet so I assumed it was quality dog food, but thank goodness for joining YT & finding out it isn't. I don't have any pet stores to buy the good dog food but I can go to a petsmart about an hr away, there is also two feed stores their I could check but just in case what are some food suggestions for a two yr old poodle (dry) & my yorkie puppy (she's on dry & soft) that I could pick up at the petsmart? I might just have to order online?? thanks tiffany |
Many feed stores carry really good stuff (not the mass marketed crap). Good ones are Canidae, Innova, Evangers, Orijen, Wellness, Calif. Natural, Timberwolf etc....maybe give the feed store a call and see what they carry? Then you can research before you go. :D |
The feed stores is where I have found the better foods |
Good luck in your search... The feed stores usually carry the brands that arent mass marketed, and I think its almost better to buy from there. I was able to find Chicken Soup for the Pup Lovers Soul at a feed store (which I couldnt find elsewhere) and Meka loves it. They will also give you samples of different brands (if you ask) so that you can test em' out... Hope this helps :) |
I agree with Wylie's mom. I have to order my babies food once a month, but it's worth it to feed higher quality foods. You just can't chance the crap that is easily bought anywhere. Too much has happened this year with the pet food industry to take a chance on your baby.:animal-pa |
I buy Nature's Recipe at PetSmart. It's a great food and my boys love it. |
I know my dog loves Natural Blend, that is sold in Canada however I am not sure if you can get it where you live. It costs more but is worth it. |
