symptoms? Can anyone tell me if they know what symptoms I should be looking out for if my dog has kidney problems or diabetes? I have a ten year old Yorkie and would like to keep an eye on any changes in his wellbeing so as to treat them before they get out of hand. Mnay Thanks Omare :) |

I have a 14 years old yorkie and I have her check by the vet twice a year . |
Both people and dogs with diabetes usually are over weight and exhibit excessive thirst (to dilute the sugar.) they don't have to be overweight but that predisposes diabetes to develop. Kidney trouble is best checke by blood chemistry as symptoms can vary. the creatinine is the sensitive indicator of renal or kidney function. |
