My Yorkie's Diet Hi, I'm new to these forums and new to owning a yorkie puppy. i have an 8 month old yorkie that i've had for about 4 months now. recently i went on a trip for a few days and left him with my best friend. he eat some of his dog food but i also think they fed him human food as well. is there anything i should be concerned about besides him eating too spoiled? also are yorkie pups stomach suppose to be concave or is mine not eating enough? thanks |
Well, if your Yorkie is not throwing up or anything, it should be okay. Just make sure that he sticks to what you normally feed him and that he eats it (and doesn't want the human food all the time). There is a bit of baby fat in the tummy area when they are younger, but at least my Yorkie is pretty fit around the tummy area, unless he overeats a LOT, then it feels like a lot of fat. Welcome to YorkieTalk! What's your Yorkie's name? |
Babysitters are so rotten to not listen to our advice on how to feed our babies. I'm sure he'll be ok, though. Merry Christmas! |

Welcome to the site!! I always have food down for my two yorkies. They graze mostly, usually they eat breakfast (dry Iams mini chunks) They get treats from Dad every morning and sometimes some scrambled eggs (when dad gets away with it). I would maybe consult a vet if you think your baby is too skinny. :) |
thank you for all your help everyone! my yorkie's name is biggie. haha. even though he's like 4 pounds. heh |
