Feeding Yorkies Don't want to keep talking about feeding a yorkie, but I have mine on a mix of 1/4 Cesar Dry and a 1/4 Cesar tray per meal which is twice a day. I don't ever read about any one feeding their yorkies this, the vet said as long as I don't feed the cheaper brands but is concerned about the wet food for her teeth. She does very well on it no itchy skin and is very active. Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance. |
http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...ecommendations You really want your dog eating dry kibble for their teeth..I would suggest feeding her a dry kibble from the good food list in this link I posted above mixed with the Ceaser's and if the pup is less then 6-7 moths I would suggest 3 times a day or leave a bowl of kibble (1/4 to 1/2 cuo) down at all times if you are unable to be home for the third meal (lunch)...I know some people give ceasers 1x a day with the dry kibble and kibble for the other 2 meals..good luck!!..btw I feed Innova 3x a dat 5 tsp. a meal and Maximus is 5 months and 4 lbs. |
Maggie gets 1/2 tray of Ceasar's Puppy, sprinkled with cheese for breakfast. Her other meals are dry food of Royal Canin 33 Mini Puppy and Innova Puppy (mixed together). She is 4 months old and 4 lbs. |
Only dry kibble here except for a little boiled chicken mixed in with dinner. I'm too paranoid about their teeth. |
