Ok so... what about a Roach back? I was reading another thread on here that stated their dog had a roach back. Is this serious and curable or painful or medicatible or??????? I am asking because I would put money down that Sophie has roach back. :( |
Ok.... weird, I just saw there was another post tonight in THIS section about roach/hunch back as well... Disregard i guess... |
I've never ever heard of this before... |
I think it is just one set of their legs being too short. It isn't painful. You cannot medicate. |
no, it is not painful. they just don't have a straight topline. the back of the yorkie should be straight, a roach back curves up slightly. |
The front legs seem to be shorter than the back legs on a dog with a roach back. The back curves up and is higher over the back legs than over the front legs. My parents yorkie has a roach back |
I have questions about this ,too! Is this a dog you should not breed???? Is it genic or just a slight birth defect or what is the cause???? |
