Hunch back My Annie has a hunch back and the vet said this was normal in a young puppy. He said she would out grown this and her back would get better. Has anyone every heard of this on a puppy? |
she could have roach back or an arch to her back. Can we see pictures of her top line? sometimes the hump goes away and sometimes it doesn't. |
As stated above, it is a roach back. Not normal....but, can be caused by a number of reasons....the good thing is is that it isn't crippling or life threatening. |
So a dog with a roach back can live a normal life? Is it hard for them to walk? |
hunch back Will get a picture out on her. She always looks if she hunch up and her tail is down. |
No it isn't hard for them to walk, they'll lead a very normal life. |
my yorkie kinda has a roached back. she's perfectly fine. |
Ellie has roach back. She lives a very normal life and it doesn't effect her movement whatsoever.:p |
Well, I will say this. Sophie has it as well, I THINK. She has turned out quite a bit different than she was. We honestly did not notice her roach back until her first heat. At that same time she started be totally different, we thought something was wrong with her, we took her to the vet 2 times in about a week or so. She quit playing with Rusty, quit chasing him it was strange. She used to be the insticator. Now she is ho hum laying around and only plays with hands. She has her personality back but not the total activeness ????? ptobably not related at all but kind of weird how it all showed up at once |
For some reason my computer software isn't allowing me to down load pictures onto this site. Have to do some more researching on this. Hope soon to get some pictures on soon. |
