I don't think turkey should be given to our babies...I'm sure others on here will let you know but, I THINK someone had posted about feeding turkey (and parts) before and it wasn't advised. Have a great day! Brenda |
They are fine to feed. Organs should make up only a small part of the diet though so don't overfeed them. It would be better to feed them raw than boiled though. |
Mine get turkey and gizzards, etc every year and love it!!!!!!!!! Never had a problem in 20 plus years and its a great treat!!!!!!!!!! Just dont over do it as they might get the runs. They love green beans and sweet potatoes too!! All in moderation. |
In moderation is fine! I have been feeding to my yorkies for 28 years! |
email i recieved. Also, please do not give your dog or cat more than a small taste of turkey meat (ideally, meat from an organically and humanely raised turkey), because a meal-size portion could bring on acute pancreatitis or a uremic crisis. Refrigerate leftovers to avoid bacterial proliferation that could cause serious and potentially fatal food poisoning to family members, including pets. |
