I just gave Pixie an apple! I gave Pixie a small whole apple to play with and i have been rolling it across the floor like a ball for her to chase and now she's take little bites out of it! LOL. |
lol that's cute. Mine absolutely love apples! When i eat one they won't leave me alone, they bark and whine until i give them some. I don't give them the skin though, i only give them the white inside part. One day Teddy was eating it, taking small bites after i ate all the skin, it was so funny |
LOL!! Sounds like safe fun!!! How old is Pixie?!! I have a little boy aged 3 months ....must buy apples!! Anything for a bit of peace!!! ;) |
I know my boys love apples. That is just to cute |
Pixie is just coming up to 6 months, would the skin harm her? would too much upset her tummy do you think? I have taken it off her now don't want her to have too much! She's also teething and just lost her first tooth so maybe its soothing for her? |
i have to try apple too. Bella likes mini carrots and yogurt. |
Pixie likes chunks of carrot too! |
I just tried this with Sal I watch him very carefully so that he would not be endanger. He watch it roll and when it stop he started licking it. Thanks for the tip:) |
Make sure they don't get any apple seeds. They are poisonous for the pups. Apple and pear seeds and the inner stony pit (kernel) of apricots and peaches contain a naturally occurring substance, amygdalin, that can turn into hydrogen cyanide in the stomach causing discomfort, illness and can sometimes be fatal. |
Mine get 1/6 of a whole apple after AM and PM meals - NO SKIN - Roxy goes 'insane' - she loves apples! |
Mine all love apples! And they also love bananas! They are a lil fruity heheee |
