Oddly enough, I've used apple cider vinegar for years with nothing but positive results. When I was a kid, my uncle used it on his dairy herd, we used it for our beef cattle, I know several horse stables that wouldn't be without it, and at least two dog breeders. I add just the smallest dab to the dog's (and the birds) drinking water. If you do an online search of "apple cider vinegar for pets", there are some great testimonials and info. It sounds like, as in most things, it's not for everyone, and if your little girl can't tolerate it, it's certainly not worth making her sick. Is it possible though, that she was getting too much or that something else might be the culprit? |
I'm happy to hear that Hootie seems to be feeling better. |
It is certainly possible that she was getting too much of it. But just to be on the safe side I'm just going to leave it out for now. I, too, have heard MANY people who currently use ACV with nothing but positive results. It is also possible that it was not even the ACV that made her sick. |

Maybe you could do some more research and give it some thought for the future... or maybe she and vinegar just don't get along.:D So glad to hear she's doing better. |
