Living with collapsing treachea How many out there have babies living with this? I did a search here and nothing really explains what the outcome for these babies are. I am not even sure my baby has this....read that it usually shows up at 6 to 7 yrs but she does the goose honking cough occasionally and just wonder what the long term effects are....can she live with this? |
My Max has this...He goes into a breathing attacks...The vet says it is like asthma in humans...He seems to get them more often when he gets excited or if the weather is really cold/hot. The vet said to keep his weight down and make sure he gets enough excersise. He will be 3 in May, he has had these attacks since the day I brought him home. Other than the occasional attack he is very healthy. I would talk to your vet they can explain it alot better than I can. |
