upset stomach & BADDDDDDD Gas
 
this week brownies had some aweful rotten egg gas
hes had no change in diet at all no extras nothing
i think his tummy is hurting alittle because he whining & then asks to go out & he farts all day it started a couple days ago
what up with that & is there anything i can give him?

Try food without wheat. Wheat makes their stomach bloat and gives them gas

poor guy... you might try giving him pro biotic yogurt.. get some of that good bacteria in his belly to help him get rid of whatever is causing him problems.

hes allergic to wheat so theres none of that in his food

Try 1cc of pepto, follow with pepcid.....should give immediate relief to the gas (gastritis) while you are attempting to change food. If this doesn't help...get him to the vet.

Yo Baby is a real good organic yoqurt. My grocery store just started carrying it. Before that I gave Dannon. Mine really like vanilla

I give Dannon Naturals or any organic yogurt. The rest tend to have sugars and fillers in them.

For upset stomachs around here we give rice & chicken. Less than what you'd feed for a full meal. That tends to soak up whatever nastiness was causing the problem. Do that for 2 meals and if it doesn't help go to the vet. I would worry about a parasite or giardia or something like that after a day or two. They can pick it up in the yard, from bird poop, or even from another dog who might have pooped in your yard. Loki had it twice when he was a puppy. Probably from trying to drink from puddles!!! :rolleyes:

any type of PLAIN yogurt with pro biotics... we will use the Organics brand but i think that is just Canadian or we will use Activa.

this is what i would normally do with my other 2 but he cant have anything but lamb hes very allergic to chicken
i really dont think he caught anything no other dogs come in my yard & he doesnt leave the yard
he seems to be better today
i spent 10 mins last night rubbing his belly & he was doing some nasty farts ! lol :eek:
if he gets it bad again i will get some yougurt then the pepcid Then the VEt thanks guys !!
