I did not see Wylie'sMom's post as rude at all, certainly alot less rude than some of your posts in raw feeding threads. I understand your concerns about pet food manufacturers, I personally don't feed premade. However for one reason or another some people just feel that they cannot commit to figuring their dogs diet out themselves and i'm absolutely certain that a premade raw is better than kibble. I have never been rude about the way you feed your dogs, ever. But its unfortunate that you do seem to feel the need to put raw down alot when i'm afraid to say from alot of your posts you don't seem to know much about it. JMO. |

Lara - thanks for your post. I didn't see my comment as rude either, just expressing how I felt about recent posts, esp. the "shots" she has aimed toward raw feeders. I stand by my comment and its intent. Oh well.... |
Nature's Variety has a VERY sanitary facility. They are actually certified organic as well...I'm not into organic really but they have a ton of regulations put on them. They do quite a bit to make sure their food has the least amount of bacteria in it as possible. I wouldn't feed any kibble, but Yorkiedaze, you said the first three ingredients were fillers. The first ingredient in all of their Prairie dry foods were some type of meat meal..chicken meal, beef meal, etc...that is not a filler. Those meals have a lot higher protein content than the foods that just list the meat alone...almost all of your premium kibbles will have "chicken meal" listed instead of just "chicken". Nature's Variety does make grain-free kibbles and canned foods. Instinct is the name of those products |
