Can Anyone Help?? Hi just last night my yorkie began to through up and now this morning he has diahria. what might this be?????? help!! |
Hi, Duncan and welcome to YT. It could be a myriad of things. Have you changed his food lately, could he have eaten something out in the yard maybe? I'd get him to the vet ASAP. These baby's blood sugar can drop really quickly and your baby could also get dehydrated. The vet can give you a supplement (can't think of the name right now, it's in a tube) that you can give to keep his sugar up. When he can eat a little, try some chicken breast boiled with rice. Others here can give you more advice, but the best advice IMO is to get him to the vet. Let us know how he does. |
I"m sorry:( It is miserable when that happens. It could be a number of things. How many times did he throw up? Has it stopped? How many times did he have diarrhea? Is he a puppy? If he is a puppy you should call the vet. Have you given nutrical or karo syrup? Is he drinking? |
thanks I just made an app. at the vet at 845 will let you all know what the out comes is. thanks |
Sending you prayers that he is ok, please let us no what the vet says. |
Welcome to YT. Prayers for your baby. Hope the vet visit helps! |
Thank to god the vet checked to see if he had parvo and it was negative! But he did say that the pup had coccidia. He said that he could have gotten it form his preeders enviorment. It was a filthy one but I'm glad he is getting all the love and heath as possible for him. He gave Duncan a shot for his vomiting and 2 other liquid meds for his internal parasite :( The vet said that it should go away in the next week. I hope so! I just say that the next time I get a new baby I make sure that the baby is in a good enviorment and that the owners keep them in a clean living condition. It's a first time lesson learned!! Thank you all for your prayers keep in touch! Love Duncan Lopez and His mommy Yolanda:aimeeyork |
I'm so glad to hear he is okay. Welcome to YT :) |
