The Wahl Peanut Whelp, I was going to finally break down and order the Wahl Peanut from Walmart online. Last I had checked it was about $20. Well, it's no longer being offered. I went to our local store and they didn't have it either. I checked online and the cheapest I can get it for is $35 which includes shipping from Amazon. Has anyone found a better deal lately? :) I know it's still fairly cheap. I'm kickin' myself for not getting it from Walmart online when I had the chance. /sigh TIA! |
I got the Wahl moustache trimmer at our local walmarts this past weekend for $11.96. I bought it to basically trim Zoe's ears. I've heard the peanut was better all around but I just didn't want to spend the money right now. I was going to get it myself from amazon but then decided to get the less expensive one since I've been spending so much money on Zoe lately! But I was able to trim her ears myself yesterday and I think it did a really good job. |
wahl peanut Hi, I think $35 is still a pretty good deal. I have been checking ebay as well. I believe it's the best "buy it now" price. If you are lucky enough, you can try to bid at a lower price. Someone told me that Wahl peanut is very easy to use. I wanted to get one but I already got the whole Wahl set with guiding combs earlier. Just can't spend more money on clippers now. Good luck searching the best deal for Wahl Peanut. |
i want to get one too so im anxious to hear the replies! |
what sections of walmart is it in? the mens clippers or the animal area? |
I got the remington clipper set for something like $14.95, and it works great. Oops I got it at Walmart. |
I got my Peanut on e-bay for about $25.00. It's the pink breast cancer awareness one. I really like it a lot. I have a big Andis clipper also, but you have to have a little one for the little places. :) |
I found some Wahl clippers in the men's clipper area. Our Walmart is such a mess though. There were hardly any clippers in the case. They were all stacked on top of each other above the case. So I couldn't really see what they had. We've been spending quite a bit on Brody too. I did find a pair of Pet Clippers from Wahl on the Walgreen's website. I wasn't sure how they'd measure up though. I might need to look at some of the beard trimmers too. So far we only really need something for his ears, bum, and toes. I did see the pink Peanut. It's $2 more, but it's sooo cute! :) |

I didn't see the Wahl Peanut on there. I know that the Sally beauty supply stores sell the Peanut. |

actually that is a good price I almost bought at a groomer show for $49.99 But I believe Pet Edge is cheaper ABOUT $35.99 I have the little battery operated wahls it works good for paws and butt |
I got mine from ebay for about $35.00 as it was a lot more at Sally's. It's well worth the price. I wouldn't trade it for anything. |
I found the Peanut at my local Sally's today. It's currently on sale until 8/31/07 for $39.99 (if I remember right). Then you can sign up for their mailer and get another $5 off. So it comes to about $35. Not bad at all based on the prices I was finding online. Now if only pay day were closer. /sigh |
There is a newer model of it coming out and that is why you don't see it. I called them and that is what they told me. |
Does anyone have the lola trimmer?http://ryanspet.com/ryanspet/product...startItemCnt=1 |

"Peanut" from Beauty Supply Shops My daughter is a Stylist and got mine from her Beauty supply house @ wholesale $. Check with your stylist, she may be able to get it for you at a better price. |
Can someone explain why the Peanut is better/easier than, say, just a regular Wahl clipper? I have a regular one, but would buy the Peanut if there is a big difference. Thanks! |
