So Angryyyy!! I took my furkids to get groomed yesterday. I take them to Petco because I can shop around and watch them being groomed (basically I'm WAY over protective) Well, I shopped for a good hour... and then went to some of the stores in the same shopping center while they were getting finished. Their groomer wasn't their USUAL groomer because she is out of town. I came back, Rosie was done... Jack was ALMOST DONE... so Rosie and I walked around and I picked out toys for her & Jack. I come back to get Jack, pick him up, and theirs BLOOD on my arm!? So, I look at his paw... and there's a small cut on the pad! I told the groomer and she cleaned it out and put neosporin on it. It was fine last night, and he didn't seem to be favoring it... but, it started bleeding AGAIN!!     I AM SO ANGRY at the groomer. I can't believe she cut him! Also, there's a little nick on his belly too. I am NEVER going to her again.  |
Poor Jack!! Hope his nicks and cuts are better soon!! |
Oh No I Would Cry If A Stupid Groomer Cut My Baby |
Hope everything is fine and he isn't suffering... Poor little yoyo:p (my other word for yorkie...wasn't trying to rename your dog:D ) |
That's awful I hope he's ok. My groomer cut Pipers outer eye once. I never went back again. |
Poor baby. It is so hard to find a good groomer. I go to a small privately owned shop. It has been ok so far. Hope your baby feels better. |
I would call the manager and give a formal complaint and ask for a partial refund if not a "full" refund. There is no excuse for injuries. I took Kallie to get her nails timmed and the groomer let hubby hold Kallie while she clipped her nails. I liked the clippers she was using and she said they sold them in the store so off I went. As I was looking I thought to look at Kallie's toenails. Well, I had done a better job than that (had it done instore as I was there at the time, they weren't busy and her nails needed done) before when I clipped them myself. So a sales person was standing by the nail clippers and I asked them if they thought her nails were short enough. She said no, they should be shorter. I told her I had just had them done at the grooming dept. and she was so upset that she clipped Kallie's nails properly, took the bill to the manager, came back and said it was a free clip and thanked me for not leaving upset but bringing it to their attention. So don't let that groomer off scott free..............complain!!!! |
If it started bleeding again today, maybe he needs a stitch or two? I would definitely file a formal complaint. If you end up at the vet, I would send them the bill. Sorry. poor baby! |
I agree I would call and complain. When my groomer cut Piper's eye I called, and complained, and she offered me a free cut. I didn't go back, but atleast she offered. |
how awful ... hope it heals without any problems .... keep us posted ... |
This is why I just do it myself. The first few cuts were pretty bad but I have it down now. You can do it too. Sorry he was cut. Unfortunately, it does happen sometimes. so sorry. |
alert the manager. cuts can cause skin infections. keep an eye on the area. poor baby. |
