Detangler What is the safest and best product to use to get tangles out? I hate it when they get tangles becaues I know it has to not feel good for them. |
Detangler I ask the same question a couple of weeks ago. Some recomend Cowboy Magic and others recomend MinkSheen and Biogroom Silk Conditioner. I couldn't find any of those near where I live. So I bought Fresh 'n Clean NO Tangle and from the next day I took my baby to the groomer I spray a little in the brush if a taangle if found. That have keep the tangles at bay. He had like 15 tangles before the grooming, now one or two at most. Hope this helps. And greetings from Puerto Rico. :animal-pa |
Hi , i have the same problems with my kids, I just use johnson & johnson baby detangler, it works and smells really good and its safe:) |

Cowboy Magic without a doubt the best |
Do you know where I can buy Cowboy Magic? Thanks! |
At a feed store. It's for horses. Trish |
We like Coat Handler anti-static detangling spray :) |
cowboy magic you can buy it on-line from petsmart. Or if your petsmart near you sells horse producs you can buy it there. Mine did not, so I had to order it.:computer: |
Biogroom Mink oil spray 1 Attachment(s) I use Biogroom Mink oil spray. I spray a little on after bath while coat is still wet. Then I comb Jack's hair gently. I am lucky he hardly ever mats. I brush him twice a day. So this helps keep coat mat free. Also, the Mink oil spray is oily so you only need very little. I found that if you use too much, they end up looking greasy after a few days. I love the stuff....Jack's coat is gorgeous because of this product.. Heres a picture of his coat...Nice high polished look...not greasy.:aimeeyork |
I picked up this stuff called Perfect Coat for Eloise. I don't really care for the scent, it's not bad just not my fave... but other people have commented "She smells like she's just been to the groomer's." I think it works great, tangles come out effortlessly with minimal if any pain. There's a picture of a Yorkie on the bottle, I bought it from PetSmart. |
1 Attachment(s) Yes I've heard of this product to. Biogroom doesn't smell that pretty either but it works amazing if not over used. |

Tilly's MOM Thankyou Tilly's mom.....:aimeeyork |
Also if you can't find Biogroom or any of the other products mentioned....Paul Mitchell sells a lite detangler that I've used while waiting for my Biogroom to be shipped. Just a thought. |
