Got a nice compliment! Yesterday I was outside with Tia and my hubby talking to a neighbour. He asked to hold her and he said, "Hey! She doesn't smell like a dog! How do you do that?" I had given her a bath a few days ago, so she wasn't her "freshest"...but it was nice that he noticed....I said 'thank you' and took it as a great compliment to how I care for my furbaby. I've been reading a lot of posts lately of how random people will say rude things about our yorkies and/or try to pick them up without permission. Just thought I'd share a happy story :) |
thats so nice to hear sweet things about our babys,i love it when mine first get there bath:) they only smell like that for a few days though:rolleyes: |
Aw that is nice |
That is a lovely compliment, and appreciate it when someone will ask if they can say "hello". |
Sounds like you have the kind of neighbor that we all would like to have. Thank you for sharing a "good neighbor" story. |
lizziepooh - What brand of shampoo do you use? Also, had to mention, I love the coat in your signature line! :p Theresa |
aww how sweet of him...kekek.... |
TJDmom- I use Groomax for puppies (tearless)....it's a blue shampoo that smells like baby powder. And I use the pink conditioner that smells like berries, also by groomax. I picked them up at Petsmart when I got Tia, without properly researching brands. When i finish those I plan on ordering Cranberry Fields line of shampoos and conditioner...they get rave reviews here. I don't know if it's the conditioner that I only recently started using, the fact that I upgraded her food to Canidae, or that maybe my baby is "growing up" (she's 6.5 mos now) but her hair is so much softer and silkier than it was when she was younger! It's a dream to touch her...wanna rub her on my face (if ya know what I mean!). And the quote is from a jar of moisturizer from the brand Philosophy....I used it as the opening line for the eulogy I wrote for my mom. |
